Crown Coliseum is a multi-use arena located in the city of Fayetteville, the state of North Carolina. The venue that has a capacity of about 8,500 seats was opened in 1997. The ice hockey team Fayetteville FireAntz takes the venue as home to its games in addition to the indoor football team Cape Fear Heroes. The venue’s official name is Cumberland County Crown Coliseum.

During the first years of Crown Coliseum’s building, the venue was mentioned that it could be used by the NHL team Carolina Hurricanes temporarily, but it wasn’t accepted by the league’s executive Bill Coffey. The venue hosted also TNA Wrestling events the including TNA iMPACT! broadcast. In December 2011, WWE brought the event Tribute to the Troops show to the arena.

To meet the needs of the large number of events that takes place at the arena including banquets, rodeos, basketball games, circuses, concerts and other exhibitions, the arena was renovated. The refurbishments included mainly the acoustics and sound systems, and that makes it one of the most versatile venues in the southeast of the country.

Several artists have stopped by the arena including for instance Kenny Loggins, Eli Young Band, Darius C. Rucker and the list goes long. Of course, the Crown Coliseum hosts games of the teams that take the arena as their home and others such as Fayetteville FireAntz, Knoxville Ice Bears, Columbus Cottonmouths, and Peoria Rivermen.
